Employers Rethink How They Give Feedback - great column.
by David Eisner
“Increased demand for feedback from younger workers is forcing some employers to rethink how they discuss employee performance,” according to the Wall Street Journal this past October.
IBM, Ernst & Young, Accenture and other large organizations are taking the necessary steps to meet the needs of Generation Y, including the way feedback is communicated and addressed. Very interesting as this further displays the unique character of this Generation. Companies need to embrace these personality traits if they wish to hire and retain talent within this demographic. The same theory applies across the 50+ demographic of baby boomers & retirees.
GoliathJobs for students & alumni, and JobsOver50 for baby boomers & retirees, exist as dedicated portals within the applicable demographic because we also understand what makes all these people tick!
